ASTM A249 TP316L Bright Annealed Stainless Steel Welded Tube refers to an electric-fusion-welded(EFW) or electric-resistance-welded(ERW) tube wgich is made from TP316L stainless steel, and manufactured in accordance with ASTM A249 specification. This tube is primarily intended for boilers, superheaters, heat exchangers, condensers, and other high-temperature or corrosive service applications requiring superior weld quality and surface integrity. Bright Annealing distinguishes this tube from standard annealed and pickled tubes. The process is performed in a protective atmosphere furnace, which eliminates scaling and oxidation. The resulting surface is smooth, bright, and passive, making it ideal for hygienic, high-purity, or aesthetic-critical applications.
